about.

Through the materials she uses and subjects she tackles, Marguerite Day's paintings, drawings, fiber works, and mixed media installations both celebrate and challenge the complexities of art, craft, handiwork and their relationship to women's history. Working in all types of media, her pieces can include yarn, chalk, watercolor, twigs, wax paper, eyeshadow, mascara, paint pens, and recycled objects.

Born in Atlanta, Marguerite has lived in NYC for over 20 years. She received a BFA from SCAD Atlanta, and an MFA from Penn State’s School of Visual Arts. She has exhibited her work widely in New York and other major cities in the country and abroad.
